Volvo Cars June Sales Report for North America

Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, reports sales of 7,001 units in the United States for June, representing a 27 percent decrease compared to the same period last year.* VCNA had projected a 10-15 percent lower sales volume for 2008 and, for the year, U.S. sales are down 14.4 percent.*Overall in North America (United States, Canada and Mexico), Volvo has sold 60,571 units year-to-date, which is 15.6 percent off compared to the first six months of 2007.* For the month in Canada, Volvo sales were off 13.4 percent, with 873 units sold, while Volvo sales in Mexico were off 9.6 percent, selling 188 units.Source: Volvo Cars of North America
