Volvo Canada to launch nation-wide promotion with Aeroplan

Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced an agreement with Aeroplan, offering Canadians up to 75,000 Aeroplan Miles for a test drive, purchase or lease of a new Volvo vehicle. The limited-time program will run from January 3 until March 31, 2009.Aeroplan Members who test drive any 2009 Volvo vehicle during the promotion will receive a certificate valid for 250 Aeroplan Miles. For members who purchase or lease a new 2009 Volvo vehicle during the promotion and take delivery before April 25, 2009, they will receive between 15,000 and 75,000 Aeroplan Miles, depending on the model. The program is open to current Aeroplan Members and anyone who becomes a member before taking delivery of their new Volvo vehicle. ?Aeroplan has more than four million members in Canada,? said Jeff Pugliese, President and CEO of Volvo Canada. ?We?ve found that Aeroplan Members and Volvo owners share a number of similar interests, most prominent of those include travel and an appreciation for premium European vehicles. Through this initiative, Aeroplan and Volvo can help both groups further pursue their interests.? While the 250 Aeroplan Miles certificates will be limited to one per person, the miles available when purchasing or leasing a Volvo vehicle can be combined with the company?s existing, advertised retail incentives. It can also be combined with Volvo Canada?s loyalty bonus program offered to eligible Volvo vehicle owners.?A total of 15,000 Aeroplan Miles can be redeemed for a round-trip flight from Toronto to New York while 60,000 can take someone to Europe and back,? said Pugliese. ?Aeroplan also offers a host of other unique reward options, allowing people to use their miles to fit their lifestyle.?Source: Volvo Cars of Canada
