Volvo Cars of North America Sales Report for September

IRVINE, CA – October 3, 2005 — Volvo Cars of North America, LLC. reports sales of 9,542 units for September in the United States. The total for the month brings year-to-date sales to just under 100,000 units, [b]which trails the 2004 record pace by 6 percent[/b].Overall, NAFTA (the United States including Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico) year-to-date sales are 5 percent behind last years’ mark. While unit sales for the month are down in both Canada and Mexico, year-to-date Volvo Canada reports sales 4 percent ahead of its 2004 pace and Volvo sales in Mexico are 12 percent up for the same period.Source: Volvo Cars North America
