Any recommended specific cell phone holder for this generation of XC70?
Weblinks to it (and/or photos of it in XC70) are appreciated.
I don't think the air ac/heat vent-attached ones are a good idea, but let me know if you disagree & why.

I really like the iOttie suction mounted holders, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FXSU43W

I use the kind that push onto the vents, since the vents are angled perfectly. This is simple and cheap: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AOV4UXC and holds up to a 5.5" phone.

Kind of depends on what you want to go for aesthetically and firm attachment
1. Proclip is nice and secure if you can accept the added bulk look. There are bulky ones that stick on your dash or suction onto the windshield. All of these have some bulk, some have a gooseneck etc..
2. High quality magnetic ones have a magnetic clip on the vent and either a metal stick on for your case or a custom case with built-in metal attachment. These are much smaller than #1 but usually require sticking something on the phone or case.
3. Cheapest solution is what actually worked best for me. Just a magnetic vent clip with a metal plate you can put under the case or even under the removable back cover. I chose this because phone/phone case has no visible mods and is flat on the back. Car vent just have a small quarter size button on the vent. Phone sometimes tilts due to position or attached charging cord exerting tension.
Anyhow, depends on your aesthetic preference on the car+phone

I ended up making an Oogoo holder in the phone compartment of my V70.
I mounted a 17mm ball to it and then stuck this "claw" style mount on it. That worked great for one-handed clip-in and clip-out of the phone. At the time, I had a Nexus 4 and this worked very well. Both for navigation and music as it was easily reachable and easy to see.
It also kept it OUT of the vent, as I don't know if 40f or 100f temps (depending on AC or heater) is necessarily good for the phone electronics.
Since this picture was taken, I got a Nexus 6 so I needed a different mount and I ended going with a Tylt car mount.

Now I just drop the phone in the mount and it wirelessly charges, connects to my bluetooth for music and stuff and still works as well as the previous mount.
This is where I put mine:

Thanks. It would be nice if that could be moved a little to the right, as it would be at a lower height on the top of the dashboard and obstruct less the front windshield, but I'm unsure if there is a sufficient footprint in front and to the left of that speaker
