    Default Injector o-ring kits

I have a question about the fuel injectors. The bottom (intake manifold side) of the injector has the o-ring plus what looks like a plastic washer. This washer is not in the o-ring kit. It doesn't appear to be a part that I can find mentioned anywhere. If it is cracked or comes off what do you do? Is the injector toast?
    Thanks

    pintle cap

I bought a kit off e-bay for cheap, came with vitton seals, filter baskets, and 3 style of pintle cap as they vary from make to make.

Look for Bosch Type 3 Fuel Injector Service Kit

Interesting, does Canadian gov force gas makers to add large quantities of detergents? When I this kit and pulled 2002 V70 injectors for service 4 years ago, they were as clean as new: filter meshes were dirt free, no carbon deposits near nozzles, injectors held the pressure without leaks - good fully working injectors. O-ring's rubber hardened a bit, only that.

I bought the kit to service a set of blue injectors off of a Canadian owned, 180k mile S70 T5. The baskets looked clean, but the pintle caps were brittle along with the o-rings.

Does anyone know the voltage these injectors run on.....I am going to clean them myself. I have seen anywhere from a 1.5V AA being used to a 12V power supply on You-tube vids. These injectors are the reddy-brown ones for the 2.4Lt turbo (2001/02) not the T5 engine.
