I never knew that I would make it this far...but I'm still "tootling" right along.

Just a couple of facts about major things replaced so far:

    Radiator and related hoses.
    (1) wheel bearing.
    (1) set of coils
    (4) of the little rubber things that go in the cupholder *grrrr*
    (1) MAF sensor (almost forgot)

I'm still running the original engine, transmission and turbo!

I just try to keep up on my oil changes and preventative maintenance outlined and suggested on the site ever since I purchased the car. (timing belt stuff, water pump, brakes, rotors, fluids, PCV system, etc.)

Just know that I am no mechanic, nor do I have deep pockets- just a "shadetree tinkerer," like
Alan McKim was in the movie Genevieve- just trying to keep the car running!

No, I have not to this point.
I do pull a small trailer (5x8 enclosed) in the mountains regularly- mostly interstate mileage, and I know I "need one."

But I do change the fluid every time I do a timing belt change- several times since I've owned the car.

    Indeed a milestone.
You driving it for this far makes it a even bigger feat.

When a company pays mileage and you have to travel for the job...it's easy.

I did a bit of searching, and there is a chap with a 2003 V70 in England with around 513K...
Another fellow in the Netherlands has a '97 V70 TDI with 624K...
    A Swedish gentlemen has '98 V70 TDI with 568K...

Those above are documented in the Volvo high mileage database, so it seems I have the 4th highest mileage 70 series documented, but the highest mileage AWD car with the original engine, transmission, angle gear and rear diff...
