OT: familliar with '02 S60 T5 with a manual trans?

Not replacing the XC but looking for another car to get me through the winter until I decide what to do with my fleet of questionable Volvos.

Any experience with these? Given the manual trans, I assume all the bugaboos of the automatic are null, but what are/could be the other issues?

Being 2002 I'm assuming it has the merelli ETM

I thought about the ETM (didn't know if this had the Magneti or not) but figured at this point it must have been replaced. this particular car has 150k miles, so it is well worn.

I test drove two over here before i bought mine and both seemed to have worn balk rings on the syncromesh,
most noticeably between 2nd and 3rd, maybe something to watch out for, the third one was fine(which i bought), however it had the 6 speed m66 box and the others were 5 speed

Thanks. This one seems to have the M66, or at least looks that way, as it is the aluminum faced shifter like the R variety.

MY02 S60 had the M56 tranny, even though it came with the same aluminum spaceball shifter on the M66 equipped later cars.
