Spent $2000 on a valve body and a steering rack but otherwise she's still going strong with 165K on the clock. Other than the transmission, I couldn't be any happier! Only reason I'd get rid of her is when/if I can get a V70R.

I hear you. I need the ride hieght of the XC so the VR is no good for me, as well I'd feel kind of bad taking the VR through some trails, so I'm upgrading the XC.
