You really can't compare the two.
One's a slow(er) AWD that sits high and doesn't handle all THAT well and the other is an older model (850) with 500 lbs less weight and has 40 more hp and is (much quicker and handles MUCH better.
Which is "better" is sort of an inappropriate question as they are polar opposites

i now that we can`t compere. but in your opinion the transmission problems that the cross country is vulnerable justify the opcion????

Its more rugged meant for offroad. I wish the XC had the t5 motor though.

I thought it was just the turbo that was different. Shows how much I know.
