Picking up my new (used) xc70 next week - I got questions

Greetings all. I am taking ownership of a 2002 xc70 (mint) with 51K on it next week. It's been well maintained but I am curious as what to expect from the 52K service. Can anyone also give me an idea as to when I can expect to replace

-exhaust
-timing belt
-anything turbo related


If there is anything else that I should be aware of I'd appreciate the feedback. This is my first volvo. My pops has had a few, but for the most part I have been a VW guy. I am saying goodbye to my 1.8T jeta wagon and helo to a sweet xc70.

Welcome to the site, jweiss!

• exhaust: I have more than 153,000 km and it's as good as new. So..
• timing belt: and tensioner, change at 168,000 km as per user's manual
• anything turbo related: can't say for sure, but if there's is no oil leak, there's not much maintenance to do. In fact, if you search the site, you won't find much on turbo related problems.

Thanks for the reply. I am buying this sweet xc70 with the intentions of being able to put 150K + miles on it. It 's nice to hear about other high milage volvos.

If it was taken care of (and the maintinence log should show that) it should be trouble free. I have 97K and no real problems so far!
