I was washing my car today.  Waited a while after coming home to give the brake rotors a chance to cool down.  I noticed a strange noise from the car. Went inside and found the heater/AC blower was on. No key in the car. (I'm not talking about the radiator fan).  Thinking something was wrong, I put the key in the ignition and turned the key to the number II position and turned the fan off.

Read the owner's manual (better late than never, but who ever reads the climate control section anyway&#33 It turns out this is NORMAL.  The fan may come on after 50 minutes to remove moisture from the evaporator.  It will stay on for five minutes.

I have never seen this in other cars.

Oh well, I thought it was interesting.

    Hi,

I did a search before I posted this topic.  I got several hits, but none seemed to cover the subject.  Sorry to rehash old stuff.
