Default Can I add an auxiliary port?

03 XC70, is there an easy, inexpensive way to add an auxiliary port or remote cable to the stereo on my XC70? Dave

There is a fair amount of info on that subject on this forum so do a search. But to get you started, here is a link to some info in the Resources section of this site. http://www.volvoxc.com/0/resources/h...stallation.pdf. Also try here http://forums.swedespeed.com/forumdi...ctronics-Forum on the SwedeSpeed forum.

I have a GROM installed that provides an aux connection. Probably cheaper ways, but it works. First I got it for the USB and BT connection options but the BT broke after a while so now I'm using it's aux input plus another cheaper BT adapter that plugs into the aux.

Leto- I have no idea what a GROM is...

I looked up the PA11-VOL, like the link showed. I'm sure that would work, but I am looking for the $5 method, not the $100 method.

The radio has a cassette deck, in the past (with my 95 850) I soldered a headphone cable into the cassette circuit and used an empty cassette to get the MP3 to play. That's kinda what I was thinking. Can that be done on this 03? Dave

    GROM: https://gromaudio.com/

But that is the $100 method, not the $5 method. If you've got a cassette deck and you want the cheap route you can get one of those cassette to aux adapters like this:

Use the search function. There is a post here from a forum member who did pretty much what you are describing. Maybe two years ago.
