The roads were very clear of traffic which made them nice to drive on and the road construction was on the whole finished. Unfortunately being in construction zones the speed was limited to 35 MPH with the speed fines doubled if caught speeding. Don't mind this if there are workers present but there were none in any of the construction zones so.......

Coming into the Yuma Proving Ground area. More than a few military planes flying by.

Coming into Yuma from the east. They seem to be planting new crops. First stop light we got to the windows opened up to enjoy some fresh desert air. What we got was a blast of hot humid air. Not expected in the desert. Found out that night that the humidity and the clouds were from a tropical storm that was skirting around Yuma up from the Gulf of California.
