so, I was looking at my air box the other day when I was checking my air filter. I noticed a rubber flap covering 2 holes on the inboard bottom of the air box. The flap is on the outside so im guessing its for water to escape? any way I popped the rubber piece off as an experiment to see if the extra air flow made a difference, it appears to have a little more go off the line and the top end dosent seem as soft. so it may be my imagination but feel free to try it. its completely reversible and cost nothing but a few min of your time. just wanted to share

You have characterized the likely horsepower gain properly, however imaginary horsepower can be just as enjoyable as real horsepower. Now go out and spank a Camry at the next stoplight...

well between that and making the stock mufflers breathe a bit better it definatly has some more umph. it was free so.....
