I have a 2003 XC70AWD. I bought it used and have been taking care of some maintenance to get it to a baseline where I know what's been done. Today I changed the fuel filter and was surprised at how remarkably easy it was!

I'm sure this is common knowledge to most on here, but on this car (don't know if it's on all 2001-2007 models) the fuel lines on either side of the filter have buttons built in to release the lines. You don't even need any quick disconnect tools! Theres just one bolt for the bracket that keeps the filter in place. Easy as that.

This is my effort to give back to this forum that has given me so much info over the past couple months. Hope someone finds it useful!

***I also made sure to take my fuel cap off and disconnect the battery before I took the filter out. I'm guessing that it's what you're supposed to do because that's how I was told to do it on my 99 V70.
