Default Can I put FWD Bilstein struts on my lowered 01 XC 70 ???

    Hi I have a question,

I need new front struts on my 01XC, it is no longer AWD it is now FWD and lowered so I am wondering if FWD Bilsteins will work. I see them listed on ViVa site but only for FWD. I have a friend here that can get me a substantial discount on Bilsteins so long as I can provide him a part number. Does anyone know the reason why the struts are different? Is there a way to make the FWD Bilsteins work on my application?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Yes
The front struts are all the same except length
Being lowered you can use whatever you V70 Strut you want, just remember Bilsteins have a tendency to raise the front ends up by 1/2" or so
