    Yes it is but...
You will have no speedometer, no cruise control and of course no ABS at all.
You should cover the ends with a baggie while it's out being repaired but in the summer you don't have to, it's just a general good idea to do so.

Trust me, Matt (email above) is very good and at $60 by FAR the cheapest.
He has done three modules for me now and all have been good rebuilds

Thanks, I'll contact Matt. Every day another light comes on on the dash, the wife is getting a little, let's say, concerned.

I emailed Matt, he responded in about 10 minutes.
He sent me the link to his website:

    https://www.midwest-abs.com/ABS_Modules.php

He has an exchange service for our modules, at $89 shipped. He ships you a good module (and an E-5 Torx socket as a loaner), you send him your old one as a core (no downtime for the repair).
As an alternative, you can send him your module, he'll rebuild it, and send it back for $50 (includes return shipping), but you'll be without a speedo and cruise control while it's out.
In both cases, you're responsible for shipping his direction.

    Gonna order mine tonight.
