    I just tightened mine as tight as I could while a helper held the car stopped in drive. Reduced my vibrations greatly.
    I'm applying my hard-earned (more like bought) knowledge to a 2004 XC90 2.5T.

    I mean the torque values for the three bolts that hold the aluminum bracket to the engine.

    All info helpful. Shudder suddenly started w/acceleration and increased load just after crossing 4500ft summit in wet/snowy but not freezing conditions. Stopped to check and seemed fuel/ignition problem. Not drivetrain. CEL came on and flashed intermittently. Had towed to closest place to have checked out. Scope reader said ##s 2&4 misfiring. Took a chance and finished trip at ~60 w/no hard accel or pushing hard on grades. Seemed look except some peculiar odors after stopping. Averaged about 20mpg. Now have to fix it. Plugs and coils?
