Front rotors and pads - went with Brembo and Akebono ceramics from FCP.

    Ordering rears later this week.

Btw, due to recent weather, the underside of my car had been thoroughly subjected to moisture. So, while I had the car up I went ahead and took off the belly pan and noticed a watery, rusty goo coming from where my angle gear meets my trans. Rusted collar=stripped collar.

I have nothing to do with my XC this week. I will just start up the set up of it the next month because I am so busy this month.

A set of new Volvo all-weather floor mats for my '07, courtesy of the dealer who *lost* my front mats.

Question 1: Seems the C-Arm aren't must to be replaced to fit R's caliper & roter, are they ? Or are you using R's C-Arm so could have the steering stopper.

Question 2: For the R caliper to knuckle bolts (2 per side). Are you using those from XC70 or from R ? I think R's are too long as R has steering stopper. But XC70's are a little bit short if I want to keep the R's damper.

    Thanks.

I only was replacing the Control arms since the bushings were shot and so were the ball joints.

    1. you have to use the XC lower control arms since they are almost 2" longer.
    2. Steering stops when I did my XC I used the R ones . The pics are from my
S60 and I just used the stock ones.

All you need is just the calipers and rotors and reuse all the stock stuff thats there.

It has to be one of the easiest direct replacments you can do .

    Sure, Justin.

I should have remembered you sold your XC so this should be S60.

And one thing interesting, in my 2003 XC70 I don't have Steering Stop in the control arm, see pic:
