Talking XC70 Ocean Race 17inch rims installed

As an early Xmas present to myself I have had the 17inch rims installed that are standard on the new XC70 Ocean Race edition. Pretty cool IMO.

Looks good. Now if only we could get the WHOLE ORE there in Minnesota I would be happy.

Looks sweet XCelerate! I saw you have the side scuff protectors too. Hmmm.....thinking I'll have to do the early Christmas pressy thing for myself too.

    Xcelerate,

Did you notice any difference in the handling of the car when you switched to the 17"?

    Default handling

    Dani,
Yes, the cars appears to be steering a bit more precise. No enormous difference, but certainly better. The tires are somewhat lower / stiffer. Overall comfort did not suffer. Four-C in sport mode and the 17inch Oreander rims are a nice combination imo.

Great pictures XCelerate. I was debating on getting the metal strips along the bottom of the car. Yours look really nice.

Default What size tires on the 17's?

    I'm looking at 17's as well. 235/50 or 55?
