    1. What would be the best way to clue this down?

    2. I have been looking for glue that would be pasty and dries quickly.
JB Weld is too hard for general use. I have always needed something
When I say "paste", I mean thick as toothpaste, one can easily spread
thin enough and dries quickly. I have some projects at hand I need
    something like that.

    Thanks.

You might try Gorilla Epoxy. It's fairly viscous. While it will run a little, it cures really quickly so I'd expect no problem for that job.

I use 3m weatherstrip adhesive to glue door panels back together, works like a contact cement, comes in yellow or black

Surely am getting the epoxy. I have always needed something with such viscosity.

I think the weatherstrip adhesive would be better for the panel since that part is always touched and the car is always in motion. It's rubbery property would work better; I think.

Thank you all for your input, well appreciated.
    Cheers
