Default New owner, not much Volvo knowledge.

    Hi,
I have just finished changing about half of the ATF. When I restarted the car the emission warning light came on and I read a P0101 fault with a basic OBD2 reader. this points to the MAF sensor but it was fine until I did the work. I have checked the plug is in properly and can see nothing untoward. Could this be a coincidence, or is there something I should have been careful about. Thanks for any insight.

Thanks bugeye, I did not look for that and that is not specific to Volvo. I am confused by the fact that it was fine before I started. I will check for this tomorrow, (21:45 now).

Thanks for the help. I found out that I caused the problem, starting the engine with the MAF sensor unplugged. I have never had a car with so many sensors or so much computer control.
