    Default S60 won't rev over 1500 RPM's.

It just did this once yesterday. It wouldn't go over 1500 RPM in a parking lot, but then went to about 3500 RPM and finally shifted. No check engine lights and the engine sounded fine. It was completely issue free today.

I replaced the throttle body with a Bosch unit back in March. Perhaps the MAF sensor is going out?

I would think that a scan for any stored codes would be the place to start.

That's how my car behaved when the MAF went out. Get a Bosch from Amazon, they're about $120. Volvo OE is at least double that... They last a long time, but they won't throw an ODB-II code when they go...
