Default Trim Kote Dye and my XC70

So I finally decided to start this project - My XC had the dull bluish cladding and I've been wanting to dye it black.
Finished today with dyeing all of the cladding, mirrors and roof rails.
Painted the front grille semi gloss black - covered the lower metal bumper plate in spray on bedliner coating.
Added mud flaps front and rear as well....

Tip of the day - Dont forget to put the fog lights back in before re-mounting the bumper

What's the size on those tires

They're stock size 215/65/16 - Only 1 of 3 brands that make an AT tire that I could find.
    General Grabber AT2 - https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tir...er-at2/p/32864

They have a slight "roar" up to about 40mph - not bad enough that I care, but over that mph it goes away.
No highway noise, smooth... I've driven a good 1000 miles on them so far.

I considered commenting on those....not your typical Volvo accessory.

    Its cool -
After getting these tires, we took a trip to NC and ended up on a gravel road then proceeded to throw up stones for a bit afterwards.
Driving down the road both my wife and I commented about mud flaps then almost simultaneously envisioned the Yosemite Sam flaps...

Its odd, but I like it......Like I said, I think it adds a bit of character to the car......

Project looks great! What did you use to dye the trim? Also, do those tires have any noticeable effect on gas mileage?

Trim Kote is the product - https://www.amazon.com/Trim-Kote-Rev...S3RK6CE8T9P1NK

We drove over 1000 miles to NC and back to FL and I was averaging high 20's IIRC.
