rpm dropping

Hello,
I have a volvo xc 70 2008 2.4D

Sometimes the RPM drop at idle. Drops till the point that the car dies if i don't press the clutch pedal.
I guess it happens more when i turn the steering to the left (can be my imagination?).

ANyone can help?

seems like a leak somewhere in the air intake side. Try to move up and down the rubber intake from the air filter into the manifold. Does the RPM change? Also would be good to read some error codes if you have VIDA on hand.
