Default 12v plug keeps blowing fuses - help

    hey fellow owners

the 12v plug it the front seat of my 2004 XC70 keeps popping fuses, i have tried multiple differents chargers and made sure the socket was clean, and it continually blows the fuse. sometimes it will last a 30 mile drive and sometime it will pop in a couple miles. i'm not sure what is wrong or how to resolve it, all i know is i want to be able charge my phone and stuff because i am on the road alot.

have any other owners experienced this problem?

if so how did you guys resolve it?

help me out guys i'm at a loss all insight would be helpful!

Pinched or damaged wiring would be my guess. I would take apart the dash and check for damage...

The 12v oulet in the back of the center console is on the same fuse. Is something plugged into that port?

Glad you checked that its clean. I've shorted mine out with a dime. Took two blown fuses to see it.
