Raise it on 4 jack stand and put in "R", look and listen, then switch to "D". Take your time, and be safe.
Keep the hood and bottom engine protective cover in place.

I just resolved a similar noise in my 03.
We did the front brakes and the metal spring/clip was installed incorrectly on the drivers side.
the spring loop was on the outside on the top but on the inside at the bottom.
I checked the others and they were all on the outside - fixed the drivers side and noise is gone.
I found a pic via google in this thread as I'm sure my text description might not make any sense......
