Just got an 05 XC70. The sunroof wasn't working (just grinding horribly), so I took off the interior light panels and discovered the sunroof motor was missing two of the three screws that hold it on. I got the proper screws at Volvo (set me back $3.00!), and put them in. Now it runs smooth as silk. The only problem is it stops at the darndest places. When I hit the auto back, it stops about halfway back. It will go about two inches further if I press the back button again, but that's it. When I hit auto forward, it closes, goes to vent, then opens back to the halfway position. I've tried the door lock and unlock to reset the UEM, and I've tried holding the button in when in the tilt position to try to reset it. No luck. Any other voodoo anyone can suggest? I can get it to close by jogging it, but I'd like to have it operate properly. Could it be the control module?

Thanks!
