Does anybody know how to replace the fuel pressure sensor on an 2006 Volvo XC90 4.4L V8?

Not sure what makes you sure that your fuel pressure sensor needs to be replaced, but a Volvo mechanic once shared the info that when a fuel problem happens, it is often due to the fuel pump connections needing to be cleaned. you can find it here in the rear right wheelwell in front the tire. you have to move the plastic and it will reveal itself.

Hello, great information. My check engine codes point to the high pressure fuel sensor and I was looking into replacing the sensor when I saw this post. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be an easy way to move the plastic. It seems to be riveted in place or am I missing something. Thanks.
