Default Battery Juice - Parking XC For 31 Days

I will be parking the XC for about a month, in the garage. Advice on the best way to keep the battery alive.
Someone told me to use the 'trickle' charger; plug it in and to the AC so when I'm back I'll have a 'healthy' battery and all the XC's setting will be intact.

Should I? If yes, what would be the best make to get and where should it be plugged into?

    Thanks.

If you have a relatively recent battery, 3-4 years into it's rated span, and no recent charging issues, you should be fine with no extra
    effort.
You could always remove and store the battery if you have any reason to suspect a phantom battery drain.

Yeah, disconnect it, and be sure and leave the doors unlocked.

I have owned the XC since middle of March and since then, I have never noticed any slight lose of juice. The dash, interior, head lights and starting has always gone pretty smoothly - no reason to worry about light low power juice.

Personally, I am kinda uneasy on just buying a 'trickle charger', plug in to the car and to the AC - no guaranty the unit does not have any manufacturer's fault while plugged in the wall.

A electronic (stereo and remote start) specialist mentioned it would be much safer to have it 'trickled charge' since leaving it alone might affect an electrical component. But I wonder what happens to a XC that needs to be left alone for a longer while, with respect to its electronic components?

My first choice would be to put all four windows down, unlocked and the remote-start / door lock switch turned off; when I come back, with the switch still off, put in the key and turn it half way to see if there is light, then I go from there.

My second choice would be to unplug the battery.

From the information you guys gave me, would my first choice be quite alright?

    Thanks.

As was said, if your battery is good, 30 days is no big deal
The car's electricals go to "sleep" and will be fine in 30 days

I would, as JRL already mentioned, just leave the car as it is, no problem.

If you are still concerned back it into the spot when you park it in case you need to jump start when you get back so it will be with the hood facing you not the rear.
