Default Trouble Replacing A H7 lightbulb

I'm trying to change a headlight bulb in a 2001 XC and can't figure out how to remove bulb from socket. There is no type of spring as mentioned in owner's manual. I saw a you tube video and it doesn't look like mine.So don't know if when previously replaced a mechanic broke it or if mine is just different. I am attaching a couple of pictures to show the light bulb. Thanks for any help.

We all know what the bulb looks like...but your issue is with the socket...did you rotate the cover off yet? How about a picture under that cover...there should be a spring there...pretty easy once you see it...but not much room in which to do the work...

Woops! Looked at car manual wrong. Ordered H7 when I needed HB 3. Think I'm fine.

The bulbs in your pics are NOT H-7's. I'm not sure what they are but I suspect they are H-11's. The bulb does not come out of the socket. H-7 in a volvo does not have a socket, and there IS a wire clip that holds them in to the lamp. The bulbs in your pics appear to be the high beam. Look again. The low beams are in the outboard position.
