Hahaha, you are asking about the functionality of a spoiler on the back of a notoriously problematic station wagon.
Also, why not do a quick google images search? There are tens of thousands of p2 xc's with them.
They also look good, you should cop it off the parts car.

Tens of thousands, I seriously doubt that, but the spoiler fits ALL V70s, regardless of model from 2001 to 2007.

Sorry I'm kicking 2 year old dead horse, but I think I spotted staggered wheels. I was told this would be detrimental to the awd. I have access to a set of 18x8.5/10.5 mae Crown Jewels that would look awesome on my lowered xc but this warning puts me off doing it. I thought I have seen staggered wheels on R's and I was also told by another source it would be fine just if the tire's diameter in the front and rear were within 3% of each other. Is this true? I would love to get these wheels to work as they are pretty cool looking and I can get them really cheap.

As long as the overall diameter of front and rear tires are the same, you will be fine. (Yes, even on Viscous Coupling AWD)
The only down side is that you cant rotate the tires front to back so front tires will wear out quicker.

My theory was that if awd turbo 911's, Audi r8's, and various other awd cars can have staggered wheels, why can't a xc70 have them?
