Post timing belt, water pump, pcv

I'm going to have my timing belt replaced for the first time, at 94xxx miles. I plan to use the following volvo parts:

    - timing belt, idler pulley, and tensioner (these come in volvo's "kit")
    - water pump & the gasket volvo includes
    - serpentine (or drive) belt

    ?'s:

    1. Any other timing components I should replace?

    2. Should crank seal & cam seals be replaced even if they aren't leaking? What is their life expectancy?

    3. Since replacing the Piston Cooling Valve requires removing timing belt, tensioner, & pulley, should I go ahead and have a new PCV installed now? Mine has never been cleaned.

    4. Anything else that should be done while they are in that part of the engine? I don't want to miss something that is near the end of its life expectancy & have to pay for the same labor again anytime soon.

    5. Any good reasons to use the dealer over a reputable, independent shop? Does replacing these parts on my volvo differ much from other cars?

    Question Help Needed ASAP

Please Help! I'm afraid to drive the car because of horror stories I've read/heard about timing belt failures. If anyone out there can comment on any of my questions, I'd really appreciate it. I need to get this car to a shop asap, but don't want to trust them to tell me all the should be done. Thanks in advance.
