So here is the deal, The CV joints and front axles were replaced byt the vehicle still had a front end shudder when accelerating. My mechanic put in one axle from an XC90 and this alleviated the problem. Car drives fine now, he had originally just replaced CV joints but this did not fix the problem. We found out that the AWD was not working and now we are on to finding the cause of that.

If anyone is interested I have a brand new set of the red bad swede springs for sale in the classifieds. I've decided to sell my XC, when I find some time, so I never bothered putting them on the car.
