    Does that little box down towards the bottom of the gearbox column on the VIN decoder mean that this position is meaningless in US and Canadian VINs? Is this because they all have the same automatic transmission? Thanks.
    On the top of the transmission on the left side there is a decal showing the transmission type, serial number, etc...
