    01VolvoXC70, nice volvo document

    The .doc link above talks about the tranny adaptation procedure that you were asking about without going to the dealer.

    Disconnect the battery for about 30 min, then do the procedures as instructed for 10 times, see if that helps.

    If that doesn't work, then resetting the adaptations thru the dealer will be the only option. Post back the results.

    Thanks jda. Transmission is running fine now that I have replaced the b4 servo cover, so I don't think I will need to do this adaption. I now know the adaption procedure if I have to in the future.

    Was looking for the location of the output speed sensor and those links helped with a transmission breakdown. I will try to diagnose it to see if it actually is a faulty speed sensor giving me the p0722 code or if it is my abs module. I will post the result when I measure the impedance of the sensor.
