Default Key won't spring out of FOB

    Hi,
Just bought a cherry 2004, 97K miles young.
Prior owners kept her mint but I both key fobs are broken in that the keys wont spring out when you push the silver button, nor will they stay out once you pull the key out.
    Any fix?
I have one apart and can see nothing obvious.
Search here and Edmunds came up dry.
Thinking of just epoxying the key in the "out" position.
    Thanks fellow owners.

In this case, switching out the electronics from another fob won't help as it's the key portion of the integrated remote that's affected.

There was a brief discussion involving a repair for a nominal fee in this thread. No other details were revealed other than his fee and claim of successfully repairing the key.

Thanks for the reply and links, I think I'll just disable the switch blade with a dollop of 5 minute epoxy while the keys extended rather then spend $50.
