Exactly. What the article is about is how the world has changed. No longer are the most luxurious cars made for Europe or North America, but for places like China, the Middle East or India. These cars are going where the new money is being made not to economies sinking under their own debt load. Sad really but it had to come when things starting moving away from what made the former First World countries great. Welcome to the Third World, boys. I'm sure our own unique version of a modern Trabant will be coming for all of us soon.

My sons used to give me crap about Ford owning Volvo, they are really going to like this Chinese stuff
'04 XC70, Ice White, Taupe. Original owner (196K miles as of may21). 6 wheel bearings, broken ignition switch, broken turbo downtube flange, failed throttle body, many warped rotors, and a myriad of weird crap. Still my favorite car ever.

Audi produces a stretch version of the A6 for the China market too. Apparently, Chinese labor still is so cheap that anyone who can afford a mid-size car can also afford a chauffeur.
