    Offset box wrench...there is enough room to loosen it. I don't think you can remove it, but once loose, you can remove the LCA.

    To echo others here, I bought the LCAs with bushings in them and just swapped the whole part out. I didn't have any particular issues, but I did use a large screwdriver and some grease to get the vertical bushing into place and then once the LCA was in place, I used a ratchet strap to pull it down to put the ball joint into place.

    I just completed a lower control arm bushing replacement job. Never again, even if it is cheaper you will burn that up in your labor. I will buy complete assemblies next time.
    I was able to use a 3' Shop bar to get the arm low enough to connect the ball joint.
