Just because other vehicles (such as 18 wheelers) are dangerous does not, in any way, justify adding a dangerous component to a different vehicle that defeats the manufacturer's safety design/feature.

I agree with your other point that situations do exist where bull bars might be useful but I suspect that would be a very small minority of cases. In this thread, most people write about appearance rather than functionality.

By the way, what is a "yuppie"? I don't believe I have ever met one.

    doesn't decrease front ground clearance.
Thats my primary concern, I'd rather have somwthing that offered more wrap around, but I am am not stuck on that idea.

I had in mind somthing with a flat stock support to mount, I'd assume around the OEM skid plate mounting hardware, with a more tubular contruction for the main bar. Flat Black powerdcoat/ annodized would be a plus also!

Hey, then hows about butting out of this thread.
Some of us feel we need a bull bar. If you don't, then great, don't get one-but for Pete's sake, don't start preaching your BS to the rest of us.
Jeebus, go start a bumper polish thread or something.

I talked to Luis this morning with regard to Vince Jasperson's status with Randy Ellis Designs of Phoenix. Jasperson has been very busy but advises that early next week he should be able to stop by with his XC70.

Is this a derogatory term? Is it good to be a yuppie or not? What defines "young"? Is there an age limit? If a person is older, but still urban and professional, what are they called? Besides "old fart"?
