    Default steering wheel flaking

My steering wheel appears getting worn and flaking a bit (mostly at 10 o'clock, where I place my hands (also at 2 o'clock). Any suggestions for a fix or treatment? Thanks.

Have you considered covering it? Just a thought.

Mine does the same - my only advice is to use leather conditioner and try not to touch it with wet hands. Not a fix, but it will slow it down.

This is one part NOT to use conditioner.
Many of these go bad for various reasons, hand cream, your personal Ph factor, etc.
Nothing you can do, either re-dye it or get a wheelskin cover

Just as a note regarding conditioner - what I find is that it makes the wheel slippery, which keeps my hands from sticking to it and tearing it up. When it dries out and gets sticky is when I find pieces start coming off.

Thanks. 50 bucks seems a bit pricey, but I don't want to get a crap $10 Target one. Somewhere in between, but I guess this is important to have good quality given the critical interaction.
