Just picked up a 1998 v70 4 dr. and want to tune it up, I just replaced the timing belt 138 k Need to tune him up, were a good place to get good parts , what parts to avoid.thanks

Made a inquiry on this board about a xc 70 2001 purchase and was told to stay away , I mean Run! and now I see the same poster trying to sell a 2000 xc 70 for 8 k , Are the 2000 any different then...

I 've been looking for a newer xc70 (2003)but found one close by . Its a 2001 115 k .
The owner says it jerks when put in gear ...
Looks clean and well cared for.. Should I stay clear
tempting at...

Yep , they've been here and gone, I now have a contract with the county for road oiling, working out well.

I 've been told the get around 25 on the open road and maybe alittle more dependable then all my disco 1's , I'm looking for 2003 or better.
Here in Iowa the seem to run around 9-10 k for a 2003...
