I just found out that I will be moving to Newport Rhode Island this summer. Now that I have a new 2003 XC that I will be bringing back to the USA with me I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good Volvo dealership to have my XC serviced etc. in Newport or elsewhere in Rhode Island.

I have excellent experience with Inskip Volvo in Warwick which is about 20 miles from Newport. They offer free pick up and drop off as well as a loaner car for routine service.
