Have you wired up an aftermarket amplifier and where did you route the wire?

I am probably keeping the stock HU for now to make life simpler, but I want to add some amplification to the mix. Having done this on a P80 wagon, I know that there is no easy way other than to remove carpeting, etc, but I found getting over the back seat and into the rear hatch was difficult and I was not happy with the resulting wires (and I used flat cabling, too).

I like the fact that the battery is next to the logical placement of the amplifier on the P2, but how did you route the speaker cable to the HU at the front?
