[QUOTE=XCovlov70;198998]Like Champ234 our 2010 D5 SE XC70 has just gone over the 100,000 Miles (160,000K) and is running as well if not better than when we got it new, as the engine has loosened up which happens with diesels.
Pity Volvo will not bring back the Manual Handbrake as my wife hates the EPB and will not drive the car!
Blind spot system is good even when towing the caravan, while the car does not have the automatic braking system but then I tend to stay back from the vehicle in front.
1 Unfortunately, I don't think the OP can get the diesel in Canada (we cannot in the USA anyway). Too bad, I used a diesel V60 as a rental in Spain - great mileage. The T6 I have in my 2010 is OK but I liked the T5 in my P2 better
2. Just a note on BLIS... mine showed an error this week. The dealer said there is a service bulletin or note about corrosion of the lens heater (not the heated mirror element) which will cost almost $500 to fix as the labor is the same as replacing both mirrors.
3. I don't have an opinion on the parking brake except location. What if the driver has a medical issue? With a center mounted brake, manual or electronic, a passenger would have some steering and speed control. I realize the likelihood is small but it has always bugged me.
Overall my 2010 has been good
