got engine system service light code 097 52,000 miles just had service 2 months ago by volvo dealer engine runs fine everything perfect exept for 1 message any help out there cheers

Hi,

Often caused by excess engine oil in a D5.
Check the oil level and see if it near the max line.

Same happened to my 2008 XC70 D5.

I just removed some oil with a plastic tube and suction pump and
problem went away.

When you change oil, don't fill it to max line.
