they indicated that this issue is minor verses what they have run into on the xc90 where the same panel splits.. and pinches you getting into and out of the car..

lysol stinks for a while

then all is good until i have to use lysol again....

The controls to move the seats extend a bit further out mounted on a plastic panel that is flat with the seat.... a bit below...the cushion top.. well you all have one so you know where it is..

added a drop more light went off..

I have an 08 xc70 which is why they sent me the letter

either buy the whole mirror..

Look for a wreck thru your junkyard's nationwide locater.... and get it from them...

or buy a new car.. take it off and sell the car...

I got a letter indicating they were getting a false engine light.. and codes indicating gasoline was escaping into the atmosphere...

they indicated because of this false light they were extending...

I was not aware of the prior R models until the last few months..

Last evening I saw a v70 r on the road.. it was what appeared to me to be perhaps two generations old...

Iliv eon a dirt road.. and wash the car and it just does not want to come off.. looks clean when wet but when it drys it has dirt on it...

Apparently the modules were just fine....

I have been told....the Volvo field tech "discovered" that a connector that is located above the gas tank was the culprit....
