No point of using it, it's going to get dirty anyhow. Just use a water hose and spray off the dirt often.
Most likely the leaking turbo return oil line will not cause excessive smoke from tailpipe. Have fun!
Thanks for the info! And great details you have on the instructions!
Hello all. Have not been back here for a while now. Does any one know if the HU-613 radio unit plays mp3 files on cds. I tried it and seem like it won't read it. Thanks.
Yeah I guess I'll try the slamming the hood, well for my car I have no replaced the siren, only on another vehicle where I work. The customer wanted the noise to go away, per his request we unplug...
It sure will be the ETM. I seen them do that on all ETM equipped models. After the throttle body decarbon, it fixed the problem. I will suggest a 1.5hrs to do that job.
Everytime I do trans flush I always replace the two o-rings and snap lock which is Volvo and I do a short road test to make sure no leaks. And I strongly recommend you only use Volvo o-rings and snap...
Sorry but the radio needs to be programmed, such as a software download. Is really stupid how Volvo needs a software for everything! Good Luck! VADIS/VIDA shows replacement of a radio unit requires...
Hello all,
I been trying to figure this problem with my own XC and another XC in a shop that I work at. Sometimes a alarm siren goes off when the car is parked especially mine, what happens is...
They changed it to plastic due to safety reasons and cost less to the consumer, on the older Volvos the glass always either break or crack due to rocks, etc. Plastic will break but will not break as...
I will remove the endlinks and road test, if still present you have to do further inspections.
The service light reset on the newer generation system are required to be resetted by VIDA. the old resetting does not work, I have tried it on the new S80,V70, and XC70.
I have to answer to willy. I got a set.
Yea is either trans pan gasket or the cooler o-ring has harden. I fixed those lots of times.
I must say is a B*** to replace the black pan gasket.
General Purpose adhesive remover from 3M works best, $12 bucks at their site.
I like to heat up the sticker with warm air, then spray soapy soap on it and use a razor blade(be careful on the...
Ive seen many coolant leakage from the lower of the expan. tank. I usually just take a quick peak at the A/C line-T/Belt cover area to see any trails of wetness of coolant. That makes a good sign...
Or you can install aftermarket plug and play HIDs. I've installed 8000k on my XC70, it looks sick. Sorry I couldn't find my thread on installing my HID in the forum.
Maybe the window is binding on the window guide.
Pretty straightforward, just remember where everything goes. The hard plastic turbo hose might be in the way to get the fan in and out. But you'll get it out. Best to replace the radiator is to do it...
uh! Never put the negative terminal into the positive terminal with the positive side still connected. That is asking for a injury. You can TRY just disconnect negative battery cable for a few mins,...
Well I made a thread about my conversion before in the XC70 section but somehow it is gone now. Well there are two types, install factory assembly HID unit or go aftermarket. Is plug and play and I...
Yea the urethane units have pros and cons. I just don't like more vibrations, unless it vibrates the seats.
I will go with the struts (shocks) and spring seat. Bushings? From the strut or ??.
Chill JRL. We're all here to learn about our cars not start a fight! Anyway thanks for your 411.
