I know what you wrote, but I'm still confused on that the fact they mixed production on the tranny, but if they were 5 why would 4th be on the shifter like the other volvo 5 spd, but you say your 00 R doesn't have the 4th... Overdrive or not, besides the XC's that have 4 or 5, but also for the other volvo's with 5 spd 4321 in the 70 series. Thats all I was asking...
