Volvo Overseas Delivery Model Year 2008 orders begin...

We have the great pleasure of introducing Model Year 2008 for Overseas Delivery. Not all 2008 models will be available at the beginning of the model year.

The pricing and schedule of pickup dates for XC70's, V70's, S60's and C30's will follow later. There is a small increase in pricing over Model Year 2007 on most models, but the most significant change is that Volvo is now offering the C70 with the standard Overseas Delivery Program discount!

The 2008 Model Year pricing is provisional as Volvo Cars of North America (VCNA) has not communicated official regular US delivery 2008 Model Year pricing yet. This provisional pricing is valid until further notice but will be changed as soon as official model year 2008 pricing is available from VCNA. However, Overseas Delivery Program customers that order during this period will be price protected. If there are any price decreases once the final pricing is out Volvo will correct the invoice or reimburse the customer. Customers are also protected from price increases compared to final pricing. We do not know at this time when the final pricing will be communicated.

wouldnt it be weird though, if someone went to gothenburg (say next week), and got his xc70 shipped a week later, just to arrive at the same time as the dealership models this fall, while wanting to have one of the first xc's stateside??
think about it, what a weird metaphorical puzzle.....
